Omega Constellation Spider dial 168.017

1.150,00

The Omega Constellation line is in my opinion one of the most beautiful line up of dress watches there is. Maybe I am a little bit bias because i myself own a Omega c shape linen dial Constellation which was the first Omega watch i owned and started my passion for Omega.
Let’s start with the the name Constellation and the symbol, The name Constellation comes from the emblem on the case back of the watch which shows the observatory with eight stars above it.
The eight stars symbolize the chronometer records that Omega earned between 1930 and 1950 for accuracy.
Omega set world records for precision in every category and keeps these standards in all there Constellation watches, first with mechanical Movements and after 1970 also there quartz watches.
The Constellation line up is mostly know for there pie pan dials designed by the legendary Gerarld Genta, But what less people know is that the C shape Omega line was also designed by Gerald Genta, which makes it even more interesting.
